1. Enumerate the types of Psoriasis and list keypoints for each.
(Eg. 1. Plaque Psoriasis – red patches or lessions, appearing on elbows, knees, scalp)
2. Guttate Psoriasis - often begins in childhood, showing itself as small red spots found on the trunk and limbs following a Strep Infection.
3. Inverse Psoriasis - is found in the armpits, groin, under the breasts, on the buttocks, and other skin-fold areas.
The areas are red and shiny and lack the scale found in Plaque and Scalp Psoriasis.
4. Pustular Psoriasis - is mostly seen in adults and is characterized by white pustules surrounded by red skin. The puss in the pustules is not an infection nor is it contagious.
5. Erythrodermic Psoriasis - is a form that can affect the entire body is a accompanied by severe itching and pain. Severe cases will require hospitalization.
2. Psoriasis is strongly linked to diet.
