> Eat fish at least twice a week. They are rich in omega-3 fatty acids.

> Wear sunglasses to protect your eyes from the glare of the sun as well as the drying effect caused by wind.

> Add sweet potatoes to your dinner, they are rich in Vitamin A.
It improves night vision.

> Avoid rubbing your eyes, each time you rub, you scratch your cornea.
Use eye drops.

> When reading, set an alarm to beep every 30 minutes as a reminder to look up and away to a distant point for at least 30 seconds.
This helps prevent eye strain.

> Practice a monthly blood pressure check up at your family doctor.
High blood pressure can damage the eye vessels.

> Walk regularly, at least 4 times per week.
Research has shown that it helps reduces the intraocular pressure in people with glaucoma.
Glaucoma is an eye disease that damages the optic nerve and impairs vision.
