Seek Help
Be attentive to the people you are close with, or around you often. If you notice the slightest change in their behaviour, and they began making such remarks on suicide, it is extremely important to take this seriously. This is a hint from them to you. Most people would brush this off thinking it is just silly thinking, and the regret afterwards wishing they had done something when they were hinted. It is better to be safe than sorry.
They need to be reminded that effective treatment is available, and that many people can very easily begin to experience relief from depressive symptoms.
